Rapidly rising rents

POAAL has been alerted to a number of instances in NSW and Queensland where Licensees have been subject to massive rent increases at their LPO.Because of the serious adverse impact on net income at affected LPOs, POAAL has taken up this matter with Australia Post at a national level, urging Australia Post to implement a consistent national policy to assist these Licensees. POAAL has strongly suggested to AP that the eligibility for Rent Subsidy be reviewed. There may be some creative solutions available, such as AP providing assistance to Licensees who have to move premises from a high rent to a lower rental location.Has the rent at your LPO skyrocketed recently?
