POAAL has received many complaints from Licensees regarding the performance of the new PO Box system during the hectic Box renewal season. Licensees will be pleased to know that AP has been carrying out a thorough review of the system over recent weeks. POAAL provided input last month on a number of aspects of the system that were causing significant concerns to Licensees.AP has advised POAAL that extra computer power has been installed to better cope with demand during peak times. AP has also extended the period for closing off boxes because of the lateness in distributing PO Box renewal notices.POAAL is of the opinion that a major technology and operational change such as this should be thoroughly tested prior to implementation. It is a sound industry practice that should be replicated in these instances.
