Morwell meeting report

POAAL held a Licensee meeting in Morwell in June, and Licensees from across the region came to share a meal, swap operating tips and contribute to a wide-ranging debate on some of the important topics in the postal industry.[caption id="attachment_5046" align="aligncenter" width="398" caption="Some of the Licensees who attended the POAAL meeting in Morwell"]

[/caption]Licensees gave extensive feedback on Australia Post's CEPOS project. Licensees also engaged in an in-depth discussion of carded parcels, including some interesting methods to expedite distribution of carded parcels and improve customer service.POAAL Victorian Chairman Des Burns gave an update on some local issues and POAAL CEO Ian Kerr reported on national matters.Other issues discussed included pre-paid eBay postal products, LPO security and unaddressed mail.POAAL meetings give Licensees an opportunity to give direct feedback on the issues that matter, as well as hear the latest postal industry news.
