Drug & Alcohol dependency programme

POAAL wrote to Australia Post requesting access for Licensees to AP's Drug & Alcohol Dependency Programme. The programme is currently in place for AP corporate employees.AP has denied our request to allow Licensees access to the AP Drug & Alcohol Dependency Programme.It is disappointing that AP has taken this stance. While we hope that there is never any cause for a Licensee to require assistance through such a programme, it could offer Licensees a helping hand if they ever found themselves in trouble.POAAL will continue to press AP on the matter.
