Deutsche Post looks to the future

Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN) has published detailed financial results for 2006. DPWN is the parent group for Deutsche Post, DHL, and Post Bank.Most of DPWN's profit comes from its mail operations. In 2006, €2b of the group's EBIT came from its mail operations. However, DPWN has forecast that this business will decline over time as demand for postal services declines.DPWN is now looking to its logistics operations to increase profitability in order to meet growth and profitability targets in the future.
