Custom stamps through smartphone app

[/caption]Canada Post has launched a new application that can create postage stamps from photos taken with a smartphone.The free app allows iPhone, BlackBerry and Android users to upload their pictures and turn them into domestic stamps."Picture Postage" is part of the existing Canada Post app for smartphones. Customers can order sheets of 20 self-adhesive stamps, which also come with a souvenir picture enlargement. Prices start at CAD$27.95 for a single sheet, with discounts for buying in bulk.Full sheets of 40 stamps are also available, starting at CAD$44.75 for a single sheet, with similar discounts for buying more than one sheet.Canada Post also offers a customised stamp service through its website, similar to Australia Post's Personalised Stamps service.
