AIRC hearing - second log of claims

The AIRC hearing regarding the CEPU's second log of claims against Licensed Post Offices was held on 16 November. Commissioner Grainger found that there was a dispute between the CEPU and a number of LPOs. Licensees affected by the claim who had not responded to the log, either by authorising POAAL or by responding directly to the CEPU, have until 21 December to respond to the claims. A further hearing is scheduled for7 January 2005 to decide whether or not a dispute will be found against those remaining LPOs.Licensees who have received the current log of claims who have not responded either directly to the CEPU or by authorising POAAL are urged to take immediate action.
